The Polyken polyethylene tape/ POLYKEN 980,955Polyethylene anti corrosion adhesive tape is composed of inner wrap tape, outer wrap tape, joint Wrap tape, and primer.
Adhesive tape is a kind of tape anti corrosion material formed by extruding polyethylene base membrane and one butyl rubber adhesive layer that is covered thermally on the former. So it possesses good insulation, excellent anti-corrosive effect, high mechanical strength, collision resistance, aging resistance, small water absorption, convenient construction, safety& health, wide application and long lifetime, etc.
The adhesives in these and all POLYKEN tape systems contain proven anti-microbial additives. The POLYKEN 980/955 can also be used for ductile iron pipes, in this case, the use of 1027 primer is recommended.
